AppRadio Extensions update now available in the Cydia Store |
"AppRadio Extensions enhances the usability of Pioneer’s AppRadio by providing complete control over the supported applications, eliminating the need to pick up your phone while driving. Home buttons, push notifications, and much more.
This application is written to support the Pioneer AppRadio. It requires iOS 4.2 or later, as specified by Pioneer's AppRadio iPhone app.
No new icons are added to the homescreen. Options can be configured in the Settings app.
In this version:
Fixed Siri button.
Added clock and battery percentage.
Added custom app launching.
Added TV out."
As you can see, the tweak is made for the first generation AppRadio. I haven't tested it out with AppRadio 2 but I'm guessing the basic functionality will remain the same. For example, disabling AppRadio app launch when the home button is pressed, should work in my opinion. I will test this out and report back.
Check back later for an update on this front.
Does AppRadio extensions enable you to control everything through the AppRadio screen?
