One of our readers, 'Sleepwitfishes', has made a video demonstrating the frustrating problems with AppRadio 2. After watching the video I can confirm that these issues exist with my unit too so it isn't a one-off incidence. Watch the video below and see for yourselves. Pioneer obviously needs to address these shortcomings. Makes you wonder if the second-generation device was a step backwards.

DeleteI can not understand how Pioneer could produce a device that complicated. Should be designed to make life easier while driving, but it seems that the pioneer engineers have done everything to make the driver to interact with the stereo and the phone. Crazy! Before producing this product, they do not have it installed in their cars??

DeleteI had my AR2 installed yesterday and I have the exact problems as in this video. Driving me nuts. Also can't even go on Pioneer site to register my product as their site does not seem to be working. I've tried 3-5 times over last 12 hours. 2 different browsers. Also, can not figure out how to run "approved" apps like nav, etc. onto screen.
