HTC has announced a list of smartphones that will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. They also hinted on a possible date on when to expect the update. If you own an HTC device purchased in the last two years, you will probably get the update.

HTC made the announcement via Twitter. They have also sent out invitations to an event which will be held on October 20. The company is expected to announce a new smartphone that day, which will be shipped with Marshmallow.
When to expect the Marshmallow update?
According to the Twitter post, HTC users will start getting the over-the-air updates before the end of the year.
