The MagBak Case Is Possibly The World's Thinnest Car Mount Solution [Kickstarter Project]

I always have an eye out for a convenient phone mount solution for the car. There are countless options when it comes to phone mounts but not all of them are aesthetically pleasing or practical. Bulky mounts can be a site for sore eyes if you are like me and like minimalism.

If you own an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you may want to take a look at the MagBak Case for iPhone. This Kickstarter project is by Alex Baca + 1Lss Inc., the makers of MagBak mounting options for the iPad & iPad Mini which have been very successful projects in the recent past.

The MagBak design uses strong magnets to mount your device to virtually any surface. The MagBak Case for iPhone is specifically designed to be help mount your iPhone on your car's dashboard. There isn't much time left to back this project so you may want to hurry.

The Kickstarter campaign has surpassed it's funding goal of $15,000 by more than 1000% by raising over $200,000 at the time of this posting. The campaign ends in about 9 hours from now so you may want to hurry and back the project for a chance to receive a reward sample of the product by next month according to the project details.

The MagBak case is a minimalistic clamshell case for your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus with integrated magnets in the body. The magnets have been deemed safe to use around credit cards. The other part of the mount is the mounting stick or MagStick that attaches to your dashboard (or any other surface). The Kickstarter page has videos showing how strong the mount is and holds the phone in place even in rough driving conditions.

To back the project and receive a backer reward you have to pledge a minimum of $39. At this price you will get one case for your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, in your choice of color + 1 MagStick.

For the record, I backed the MagBak for iPad Mini campaign last year and have been using it ever since. It works like a charm! In fact, I even wrote a post about the Kickstarter campaign last year. The people behind this project are reliable creators in my opinion.
