2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Fuel Efficiency Isn't Exactly As Advertised [Video]

Consumer Reports has published a review of the 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid. The car boasts a 50/45 mpg fuel efficiency which was put to the test. According to the review, the Accord doesn't live up to that mark.

Among most hybrid cars that promise fuel economy in the 40s, the 2014 Accord has one of the better fuel efficiencies. Consumer Reports managed to get exactly 40 mpg on the car. Among the other remarks from the review were that the Hybrid doesn't handle or brake as well as the regular Accord.

Trunk space is also less due to the presence of the battery and the rear seats do not fold back. The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid starts at $29,155.
