This week our poll aimed at finding out which AppRadio 3 feature are you all most excited about. The results are in!
The sample size was low (53) for this poll but the general trend of the answers indicate Bluetooth Streaming to be the most popular new feature. With AppRadio 3 you'll be able to stream music wirelessly over Bluetooth. That means if you only plan on listening to music while driving you may not need to connect your phone to the head unit using the cable. Just an active Bluetooth connection will be enough.
Apple's Siri Eyes Free feature is the next most popular. This feature will allow you to activate Siri and use voice commands for the most common functions instead of having to handle your phone while driving.
MirrorLink connectivity, which came in third, will allow various phones running on Android and even a few Nokia phones to mirror their screens onto the head unit. This is an AppRadio first.
Looks like the addition of the DVD/CD drive to the AppRadio 3 isn't too exciting. This week's result coupled with last week's which had over half of the responses not in favor of having a DVD/CD drive suggest perhaps that Pioneer's lower end AppRadio 3 model without the drive may end up being more popular than the higher end unit with a drive.
