At $279.99 it is a really good deal. AppRadio 2 is still a good device and one of the best options if you have an iPhone 4/4S or one of the compatible Android devices. Although it is compatible with iPhone 5 with a couple of adapter cables the experience isn't as streamlined as with a 30-pin iOS device.
