Apart from being manufactured completely in the USA and fully electric, Tesla Motors' Model S has one feature that stands out to tech enthusiasts. It's the car's bright and sharp 17-inch dashboard display. Even the conventional analog tachymeter and speedometer has been replaced with a LCD display behind the steering wheel. Deliveries of the highly anticipated Model S began in the U.S. in June of last year. The Model S is made entirely at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California. The 100% electric car has won quite a few awards since launch including the 2013 "World Green Car", 2013 "Motor Trend Car of the Year" and Automobile Magazine's 2013 "Car of the Year" [1].
The dashboard features the crisp 17-inch display which helps control a large variety of features inside the car. From temperature controls to music and lighting to car height, almost every feature can be adjusted or controlled. No nobs here! Here's a feature excerpt from Tesla:
The touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and steering wheel controls seamlessly integrate media, navigation, communications, cabin controls and vehicle data.
Model S comes additionally equipped with two USB ports for charging your mobile devices. The 17-inch display features a fully functional internet browser and a navigation app, music app and independent internet connectivity. Although the car's entertainment system may not run smartphone apps, the built-in apps and browser provide adequate functionality.

The Model S is priced between $60,000 (60 kWh) and $90,000 (85 kWh). There are Federal Tax Credits for buying the Model S ranging between $7,500 and $15,000 (Electric Vehicle Incentive).
