I am not sure if this warning is directly from Pioneer because I couldn't find it on Pioneer's website. Also, the time when this warning was posted or the firmware version involved is not exactly known. If you own this head unit I suggest refraining from updating the firmware until a mention to fix this Pioneer issue is made.
