Note: The Android version of the App hasn't been updated since January.
You can update to the premium version of the app which gives you additional functionality like saving multiple points of interest (work, home, etc.). This makes navigating to those places easy with a few clicks. The premium version used to cost $24.99 previously but that price has now been cut to only $9.99. It is available as an in-app purchase.
We have reviewed INRIX Traffic for the AppRadio in the past. Most features have remained and new ones have been added. In recent versions, "departure time" was added which allows to you pick a time for travel and gives predictive traffic information. I used to like that feature.
With INRIX Community you can now report traffic events including incorrect traffic flow information. Data shared by users is used to refine traffic information - much like what Waze does.
There are also traffic cameras you can view within the app. Planning a trip with INRIX Traffic and your AppRadio just got better.
Pictures of the AppRadio interface will follow shortly. Stay tuned. In the meantime, you can browse through our previous INRIX-related posts.
