Get Started On Jailbreak Coding With This Tutorial [Jailbreak]

It was announced a few days ago that the real handy iOS jailbreak tweak, AppRadio Extensions (AppEx), was going open source. This means, any interested developer can now get the source code for the tweak and work on improving and updating it.

AppEx developer, Mike DeCaro, has provided a link to a tutorial for developers who aren't familiar with jailbreak coding to help them get started. Details are below.

With iOS and AppRadio software getting updated ever so often the jailbreak community have to be constantly finding ways to improve their software too. With every update put out by Apple, jailbreak vulnerabilities get patched requiring developers to find alternate ways to jailbreak. Those of you familiar with coding at any level can understand what this requires.

AppEx is a great tweak that gives added functionality to AppRadio devices when connected to an iPhone. For example, the last version of AppEx enabled full touch functionality to the mirrored iPhone home screen on the head unit. Something ARLiberator does for Android phones (at a handsome price).

AppEx has been free to download from the Cydia Store ever since it was developed. The work needed to keep AppEx working needs to be carried forward by developers in attempts to make the AppRadio experience even better.

This tutorial was recommended by Mike on Avic411 for those of you who need a little help getting started. The tutorial is posted on brandontreb.com. There are additional tutorials there too. Those interested should look it up.
