There's a new app that's AppRadio compatible today and it's Livio Car Internet Radio. The app costs $4.99 in the App Store (free version available too but doesn't give access to all 42,000 stations). But don't just rush and drop your nickel on the app just yet.
After using it for a few minutes today I wasn't impressed with it at all. StreamS HiFi Radio app is a better alternative for sure.
The AppRadio essentially acts as a external display for the app at best. There are only 6 presets which you can switch between but these have to be programmed on the iPhone first. Almost everything ranging from station search to customizing presets can only be done from the iPhone, not the AppRadio. This makes the app's AppRadio compatibility redundant.
So hold on to your money for now. Unless the app's developers improve the functionality of the advanced app mode it is definitely not worth the money.
