I'm not sure how long ago these changes were made, but Apple has added some updated pictures to its CarPlay site. The new pictures are slightly different from the preexisting ones but the changes are included to show new features in CarPlay.
There's also some new info available. Take a look at these before and after pictures...
The new piece of information is in the compatible apps section where Apple has added Pandora to the list. The list is not complete though. There are many more third-party apps that are CarPlay compatible but aren't mentioned on the site.
Apple either needs to update this list or include an "Apps for CarPlay" section in the App Store to make it easy for people to find apps for their dashboard. Like Google does with Android Auto apps.
