Finally! iOS 8 Pangu Jailbreak Now Available For Mac [Jailbreak]

After being available only for Windows users for quite some time, the iOS 8 Pangu jailbreak developed by Chinese hackers, is now available for Mac. Initially, the untethered jailbreak was unstable and did not include the Cydia store but the most recent release has added Cydia and fixed some stability issues.

More details are below...

Pangu can jailbreak iOS devices running iOS 8 through to iOS 8.1 via USB. The process of jailbreaking doesn't take too long. Just connect your iOS device to your computer, download the jailbreak tool and click "Start Jailbreak."

The usual disclaimers involved with jailbreaking your device still apply, including security risks, stability issues etc. But jailbreaking opens up your device to the huge Cydia repository which contains a ton of tweaks and applications that can improve your iOS experience.

With Pangu, developers have informed users that the upcoming iOS 8.1.1 will patch the jailbreak exploits used. So when the new iOS version becomes available, refrain from updating unless you don't mind losing your jailbreak.

In the not-so-distant past, jailbreaks for iOS devices allowed Pioneer AppRadio users to install AppRadio Extensions or AppEx. The tweak gave users full touch control of their iPhone from the car's head unit. But, development of the tweak has stalled in the recent months with the newer iOS versions not being supported.

Pangu is currently compatible with the following iDevices running iOS 8 to 8.1...
