Google is planning on bringing WhatsApp even closer to your world by integrating the service in its Android Auto software. And, WhatsApp will be available in Android Auto at launch, although no one knows when the launch will happen.

Developers can begin integrating Android Auto into their apps using the recently released API and submitting apps for approval.
