If you're a NEX customer you must have downloaded the CarPlay firmware update that Pioneer put out a couple of days ago. Apple's latest firmware puts the four core iOS functions in your dashboard: Phone, Messaging, Music and Maps.
The interface is pretty straightforward and familiar. And to make things easier, Pioneer has made a video tutorial giving customers a walkthrough of CarPlay functionality. The new AppRadio 4 (SPH-DA120) is also CarPlay capable. You can watch the video below...
