Pioneer introduced AppRadioLIVE without much hoopla but customers will be pleasantly surprised when they slowly discover the app. The new app brings maps, news, weather, music and events into one place. It keeps you at pace with what's going on around your route.
We found these screenshots posted by user "tekki" on AVIC411 Forums showing AppRadioLIVE working on Pioneer's flagship AVIC-8000NEX head unit. And "tekki" reports that using AppRadioLIVE will require you to use the digital AV adapter with your iPhone, just like you would do with AppRadio Mode.

Very strange....it's almost as if Pioneer is trying to compete with Apple's CarPlay before they release the firmware update.
ReplyDeleteHonestly..I think they are trying to compete with Kenwood who has a lot of similarity with their Excelon series. CarPlay does it for me and I believe the head unit is faster, and easier to use.
