If you're using an HDMI cable to connect your iPhone 5 to the AppRadio 2 then you can mirror your phone's display onto the car stereo's screen. But you can't have touch controls on the AppRadio 2 (only Android users can have this functionality using ARLiberator).
Even without touch controls I like having my music playing with Apple's Cover Flow displayed. The flowing album art just looks nice. Thought I'd share this picture here. In case you didn't know how to, just hold your phone in landscape mode (sideways) while having the Music app displayed. Now for those touch controls to get working!
