Clarion Offers Two New Apple CarPlay Aftermarket Head Units - NX807 & VX807

When Apple CarPlay first launched, aftermarket options were limited to select Pioneer head units. This year, however, the CarPlay lineup has expanded to a total of five aftermarket manufacturers - Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, Sony and Clarion.

Clarion brings CarPlay to your existing vehicle via two double-DIN head units: NX807 & VX807.

Additional details, pictures and the latest pricing information is below...

Clarion NX807 & VX807 (Apple CarPlay Head Units)

From the outside, both head units look exactly identical. The main difference between the two lies in functionality. The NX807 offers its own in-built Navigation System in addition to what's offered via CarPlay while the display on the VX807 has a slightly wider aspect ratio (17:9 vs 16:9).

Here's a side-by-side comparison of hardware specifications for both receivers...

Both head units offer DVD playback along with a host of other multimedia features like Bluetooth streaming, optical audio output, large 7-inch WVGA touchscreens, dual-USB input, HDMI connectivity, SiriusXM compatibility, etc.
