[BREAKING] Pioneer Announces 9 New DVD Receivers For Your Car

Pioneer Electronics' 2016 lineup of DVD receivers are here!

The aftermarket manufacturer introduced 9 new receivers in a press release today. The new models are packed with features including the new Spotify integration and Pandora presets, which is a first for dashboard head units.

Main Features

Pioneer's DVD receivers always offer a relatively affordable option for consumers looking for an upgrade to their car's dashboard with robust new features. These upcoming models are no different. The features offered this time are quite good.

1. Bluetooth Wireless Connectivity (AVH-X7800BT, AVH-X6800DVD, AVH-X5800BHS, AVH-X4800BS, AVH-X3800BHS, AVH-X2800BS): Includes HFP 1.6 Wideband Speech and Music Library Browsing over Bluetooth.

2. Siri Eyes Free (all Bluetooth Models): With Siri Eyes Free users can make calls, select and play music, hear and compose text messages, get mapping information, listen to notifications, listen to calendar information and add reminders using voice with the simple press of a key.

3. Spotify (all models except AVH-280BT and AVH-180DVD): This great new feature allows users to control the Spotify app on their iPhone or Android device directed from the receiver. Users will be able to play, pause and skip tracks and also browse playlists, albums and radio stations right from the receiver. Spotify integration will work over Bluetooth for Android devices and Bluetooth or USB for iPhone.

4. USB Connectivity: Connect your iPhone, iPod, USB drive or compatible Android device via the USB port for music.

5. Pandora Radio (AVH-X6800DVD, AVH-X5800BHS, AVH-X4800BS, AVH-X3800BHS, AVH-X2800BS): Includes Pandora Station Creation and the new Station Presets feature. With Station Creation users can create new stations based on a song or artist right from the receiver. With Station Presets, which makes Pioneer the first aftermarket manufacturer to offer this feature, users can save their favorite stations on six presets for easy access.

6. SiriusXM Connectivity (AVH-X5800BHS, AVH-X4800BS, AVH-X3800BHS, AVH-X2800BS, AVH-180S): Five models are compatible with the SXV300 SiriusXM Vehicle Connect Tuner (sold separately).

7. HD Radio Technology: For high quality audio broadcasts, the AVH-X5800BHS and AVH-X3800BHS feature a built-in HD Radio tuner.

8. FLAC Audio Playback (AVH-X7800BT, AVH-X6800DVD, AVH-X5800BHS, AVH-X4800BS, AVH-X3800BHS, AVH-X2800BS): Enjoy high quality FLAC Audio playback from a USB drive at up to 48kHz/24bit resolution. In other words, CD-quality sound.
