AppEx For iOS 7 Now Hosted On GitHub, Remains Open Source [Jailbreak]

There's an update about AppRadio Extensions (AppEx) posted by developer Mike DeCaro. The jailbreak tweak went open source last year and Mike has been working to get it compatible with iOS 7. The tweak gives users full touch control of their iDevices over the AppRadio.

Here's where we stand...

AppEx will now be hosted by GitHub which is a web-based hosting service for software development projects. When AppEx is ready for release and compatible with iOS 7, users will have to get it from the GitHub repository.

As far as the development of the software goes, Mike has been able to get the AppRadio app running in the background with AppEx. The next step is getting the iPhone screen to mirror followed by configuring touch input.

Currently, there are no downloadable packages on GitHub for AppEx but Mike says he will start posting packages with beta versions to download and test out once he gets mirroring to work. Seems like AppEx development is still moving along and it's just a matter of time.

AppEx makes the whole AppRadio experience a lot better by eliminating pop-ups and error messages while giving full touch control of a jailbroken iPhone.

Stay tuned for more.
