We've written about bike mounts before. This one is a little different though. It's a mount for your iPhone (5/5S) but with a speaker attached to it. Meet the Allo (pronounced All-Oh), the all-in-one speaker-bike mount combo.
The Allo is made up of two pieces: the speaker case and the bike mount. The mount secures onto any bike handlebars. The speaker case holds your smartphone which can be slid into the case and onto the 3.5mm jack at the bottom. The speaker is quite loud at 80-90 decibels and runs on two AAA batteries.
So whether you want to listen to your music or riding directions, the Allo will get the job done. It promises distraction-free riding by keeping your hands off your phone.
Allo is a Kickstarter project with an expected delivery date in May. It is priced at $45 but discounted $40 pieces are still available at the moment. At the time of writing up this post, Allo had received just above half of its required goal of $24,500 with 23 days to go.
