Here's How To Connect Your AppRadio 3 To A 30-Pin iPhone [Video]

If you've just got a new AppRadio 3 (SPH-DA210 or SPH-DA110) and have tried connecting an iPhone 4 or 4S using the 30-pin cable but haven't had any success getting it to work, you may want to watch the following video. YouTube user "alexandrews1981" has made the video showing what needs to be done to make the setup functional.

It's possible that most new AppRadio 3 devices get shipped with the "App Connection Setting" set to "iPhone (Digital AV)" by default to accommodate the newer lightning iPhones. Changing this setting back to "Others" fixes this issue as seen in the video above.

Make sure your emergency brake connection is made correctly. If you have a switch this needs to be wired correctly too in order to be able to view AppRadio Mode.

Good luck to those who needed this fix and thanks, Alex!
