Chevrolet Is The First Manufacturer To Offer Apple's Siri Eyes Free [Video]

U.S. car manufacturer, Chevrolet, has become the first to offer Apple's Siri Eyes Free feature in its cars. The 2013 Sonic Hatchback shown above has the technology integrated to get you talking to your car with the click of a button.

Siri Eyes Free (different from 'iOS in the Car' in iOS 7) was showcased by Apple a few months ago. It is designed to keep your hands off your iPhone while driving. By clicking a button, in the case of the Sonic the steering wheel voice activation button, Siri gets activated and you can then give commands like composing texts and emails or making phone calls.

Your Chevy needs to be equipped with Chevrolet MyLink which is their flagship in-car entertainment technology. The connection between your iPhone (4S or 5) and your car happens over Bluetooth.
